 We now have eight beautiful tubs of flowers and foliage stretching along Lewes Road from Trinity Street to Inverness Road, and we are planning to have more. But they won’t look after themselves, so please throw on some water if the soil feels dry (especially in the summer months), and report any vandalism to the police.
You’re also bound to have noticed the dramatic transformation of the old Esso site, at the bottom of Edinburgh Road. A local “guerrilla gardening” group has worked hard to create a delightful community garden which includes a lawn, benches, vegetable patch and hand-painted murals.
